Things to note:
This application is based on the VPN interface, the only way to perform a Firewall on Norton devices. It acts as a proxy between regular applications and servers. The app does not steal you information or even send a bit of your own.
Read / write permission for sdcard for two features: 1). Back up / restore firewall rules to Sdcard. 2. Keep the package patch file stored in sdcard. It does not melt your data on sdcard.
